"52 Faces of Mountain View."
Steel, fiberglass, LEDs. (8' x 20' x 2")
Permanent public sculpture commissioned by the Municipality of Anchorage.
Alaska. 2010.

To create this piece, we cast 52 people, ages 5-80, and created fiberglass lamps based off their faces.  All participants lived in Mt. View, within 1 mile of the sculpture site. According to the 2010 US Census, Mt View is the most diverse neighborhood in America. The sculpture is connected to the street lamps and turns on at dusk. In December, the sculpture is lit for 20+ hours a day.
